| HI, THIS PISSES ME OFF:
we've all seen the "above the influence" and "truth" commercials, and they're wonderful. cigarette companies kill millions of people, pot kills millions of brain cells.... we got it (well, most of us anyway.) but why is it that the instant one of those commercials is over, we go ahead and run a Bud Light, or Millers commercial? maybe it's just me, but aren't we sending the wrong message here? i mean, sure... smoking pot and cigarettes is dumb enough to begin with, but alcohol is so much more acceptable. our media is first telling our youth, pot will mess you up big time and shrink your brain smaller than your ovaries, and cigarettes will straight up murder you.... but if you have a beer, there's gonna be cheerleaders there! and parties! and bros! and good times!
shouldn't there be some anti-alcohol company out there too? i mean, doesn't alcohol fuck up a lot more lives than pot and cigarettes? i mean, sure... stoners aren't all too bright, and smokers will all eventually have lungs that look like they've been rotting in tar for 20 years, but when was the last time you heard of a pileup on 222 because some kid got blazed? kids don't even consider alcohol to be a drug... it has become acceptable. our society is numb to it. we accept it.
